Nostalgia

Mom was feeling a bit of nostalgia and wanted to post some pictures of me to show how much I have changed in a year.

A New Friend

During our playtime yesterday we made a bubble bath outside and I absolutely loved it. I had to pose for a picture.
I enjoyed transferring bubbles to my other swimming pool.
This girl Hanaan, has come over the last two days. She is 15 and it was her her first time jumping on the trampoline. She was so grateful for the time over at our house. Mommy and her had some time to talk and practice her language.
This girl is the house helper next door and we would find her standing and staring at us. She has a very gentle spirit about her. She is very responsible for a 15 year old Mommy says.
A week ago, we saw her little by little staring at us from the 15 foot wall that surrounds our house. A few days ago Mommy invited her over. It took me a little while to get used to her, but seeing Mommy love and accept her helped me ,too, also.

My Actual Birthday

On my actual birthday (Aug 17th) we had a little mini party. My friends, that are twins, came over for a little play time. Mommy made cupcakes and we jumped on the trampoline!

That night, I open one present! Can you guess what it was? It was bath crayons! So, we did a little face painting and drew some trucks in the tub. Do you like my glasses and mustache?
Mommy joined in, too! She painted me and I painted her!
Before I went to sleep that night.
My babies- Blanco, Kitty and Osito! Lion was sleeping. We didn't want to disturb a sleeping Lion!

My 2nd Birthday Party

Here I am making my birthday cake!
Mmmmmm.....just right!
The finished product. Nothing like the cake my Nana made me last year but it was suffice!

Bubbles spiced it up. My friends and I had so much fun playing in the pool.

I played with my digger for a long time before my nap. Mama gave me some popcorn to scoop up and dump in my truck!

ZOO

ZOO time! It was a great day! Hot but fun! Mom was having a bad hair day!
This is the look I made when I saw the animal below...
U-G-L-Y you ain't got no alibi...you ugly!!!! This is what I was thinking on the inside.
The guard was feeding him bread and this is what he did for more.
The elephants were my favorite because they got really close to you and this one made some mud and threw it on his back to help stay cool.
I am opening a present from Jo and Milly. They got me bubbles, a teddy bear, a tic-tac-toe game, and a washcloth with fish on it! We had pizza and it was awesome to have American pizza.

This was the coolest place. It had 5 different moonwalk/jumpy things that we played on with Jon-Jon and Lydia. It was awesome! I climbed all the way to the top all by myself!
Then, we had ice cream! I took BIG bites and enjoyed every drop. "What is wrong with me? Why can't I get a date?"
I crashed on the way home! We are having a pool party on Monday and will send more pictures!

Potpourri

Papa and I jammin' to Gipsy Kings on their MP3 player. I am growing more and more attached to it, almost to the point of calling it my MP3 player!
Mama packing our suitcases because we are staying at another place for a month. We get to stay at a worker's house while they are away! Yippee because they have a big place and a trampoline!
The sweet puppy that we get to care for and love. We gave her a bath yesterday outside and brushed her soft coat. Isn't she purddy? Her name is Naina.
Cheese!!! Mama wanted to capture some up-close pictures of me before I turn 2!!
I am giving all of my sweet lady friends sexy eyes!!!

Cheese!!We played in the pool today! Mama got in with her clothes on and I thought it was so great of her. She let me pour water on her and we washed kitty, too! Our neighbor watched in amazement as I swam in the nude!
Here I am in the bed with fun sheets taking my nap. I am looking forward to going to the zoo this weekend and eating Pizza Hut pizza! We will be celebrating my birthday there. Mommy has invited people over on my actual birthday for cake and ice cream and presents, too! Thank you for praying for me and loving me. Thank you for being faithful guests to my blog, too!

Side of Beef

If you are really craving fresh meat we know a really good place to go about 20 minutes from our house. It took us 5 months to get to the point where we could eat here because it just seems weird to have meat hanging outside all day and it be okay! But we were fine and the meat was delicious!
