Glimpse of Portugal

Here is a small town in Portugal that we visited one afternoon. There was a cool mid-evil castle and quaint little shops full of beautiful pottery that was way over priced. Over all Portugal is Mommy and Daddy's favorite country except for Scotland and England. It is a must visit country!

These are two women that played with me in my class of birth to 3 years old. We had a wonderful time together. I made lots of new friends. Thank you, Ronna and Grace!

Medhi and Me

These are some things we enjoyed doing while we were together in France. Climbing around in the car we rented.
Enjoying the view form the balcony-it was raining so we had to shut the shade.
Going exploring in the city.
Visiting the park.
Eating ice cream.
Watching cartoons.

Going to the beach.
Looking at French cars. I love it. I want one.

Walking down the streets of St. Tropez.
Taking photos. Do I smell?
and jumping on the bed.

Package

I got a package from Pop and Mawmaw yesterday. What a BIG surprise. We had so much fun finding out what was inside. Craft stuff-yay! Thank you for thinking of me and for taking the time to send it. I love you!

We were able to make this duck and "crab"! It was fun and we look forward to making stuff in the future.

Barcelona

We headed to Barcelona last week and I met a lot of new friends! This company we flew with gave me a cool book with stickers. They have cheap tickets, too!
I picked up my luggage in the airport and headed for our hotel.
I played outside a lot on the patio. It was an old hotel turned into a special school for people wanting to get their Masters.
This is Kate my babysitter I had while Mom and Dad were in class. She is an MK living in Barcelona. I really liked her.
I made a train one day.
They had a ping pong table and lots of the students played with me. I was very popular and loved on a lot.
Here is our room.
We went into Barcelona many times to share the Good News with people. Here are some things we saw...
many street performers,
a cool open-market that reminded us of Morocco. CANDY! My favorite section,
nuts and dates and chocolates,
chilies-we thought of Mam-maw!

This big cat was in the Arabe section of town. We met a family here from Morocco and went to their house the next day and had lunch with them and went to the beach, too. We forgot the camera on that day-Mommy was bummed.

We visited the parks.
This is a famous house build by Gaudi. It was based on one of those legends of a princess trapped in a castle protected by a dragon. So the balconies are the bones of the dragon, the roof are his scales, the tower represents the spear that slayed the dragon to rescue the princess. Anyway, very creative architect. He has many pieces of work in Barcelona.
We got ice cream one day on our free day back into town and we bought a new stroller! It was like going from a Ford Pinto to a Lexus in our eyes. The handles are higher, the seat "breathes", and it is wider and it has a sun shade. We loved the price, too! We donated our other Target stroller to the school.
This is at the end of the Rambla right at the port (a big street with shops, street performers, flowers shops and other venders). It is a statue of Christopher Columbus.
These "wild indians" were doing a special dance with incredible music! It was fun.
We went to a church for MMBs and seekers. The kid on my left is Egyptian (his parent's work at the church), the older girl next to me on my right lives in Orlando and her father is Egyptian-she led her father to the Lord when she was 5, the other little girl in her arms has a mother from Ireland and a daddy from Egypt. Her parents work there at the church, too. We played and ran and laughed until we were so sweaty!
This is Dylan a sweet little baby of one of the students that live there. I loved holding him and kissing him on his forehead.
Mommy liked it, too.
Papa finally got to go to the beach with me at the end of our trip.
We dug, dumped, splashed, and crashed our creations.
We also had sand wars.
Then we had to go. We got to ride a big bus to our airplane.
We made it back home and on the Metro I took all of the stickers off and put a "bandage" on my leg. It feels good to be home.
