Silly Guy

I am quite the ham bone. I love to do silly things. It is just fun! I get bursts of energy after my bath, right before it is time to go to bed. I know I am not the only kid that does this.

I am laughing at myself for being so silly. I made mom laugh.

We went to the SW side of the country to visit some friends of ours. They adopted two kids from Guatamala and they are such blessings! We had such a great weekend together. Cayleb is so much like me it is scary. We joked that we were twins separated at birth.

Caylee was very sweet to me and is a wonderful big sister. She has a bike, too!

We raced and I was very fast. I showed my competitive side. I could win on the bike but Cayleb beat me running. I didn't like it!
Showing off our wheels.
Then we jumped in the car and drove to a tall mountain to have a picnic. It was about to rain so we hurried. Do you see it in the background?
There is the tree we sat under. After our nap, we got ready to go to the pool. Can you tell I had ice cream?
They have special rules at their fitness center that everyone entering the pool had to wear a swim cap. Don't we look like professional swimmers? I have improved so much in my swimming. I can go underwater now! It helps to have older kids to follow.
We shared many meals together and desserts! Mmmmm.... Their mommy is a great cook and we received so much hospitality and love. We didn't want to leave. Next time they are coming to our house the end of September!

Birthday Cake

We saved the cake for today since all of our team was coming together for a meeting. We had a blast playing in my room and riding my scooter, bike, and moto up and down the hallway.
Mommy made me this cool bike cake and everybody sang Happy Birthday to me. I felt so special. It was great having my friends there. Family, you were all there in my heart.

Christopher, Amanda, me, Lisa, Sarah, and Otto (from left to right)

Christopher, Amanda, and Sarah are siblings and they just came back to live here. Lisa and Otto are who I went to the pool with about a month ago.

My First Bike

today is Saturday and Mom and Dad had one more present for me when I woke up. They said it was from Mammaw. They wrapped the box
but had the bike already put together
so I could hop right on and go.
Papa helping me with my shoes so we can go outside.

Ohhhhhhhhhh.......the open road. No cars. Just the breeze in your hair and the sun on your face. This is the road we take on the way to my school. No cars are allowed and usually it is full of people rollerblading, cycling, walking, and running. Well, at least when it isn't the month of August.
Papa had to run and catch up with me because I was so fast!

Thank you, Mammaw, for my present!!!

The Birthday Afternoon

Sooooo, after school we all headed to Hard Rock Cafe. We had some fabulous gift certificates given to us by a team that came back in May as an anniversary gift (thanks again!). We decided to use them for this special occasion.
I really liked this bull on the wall. About every 20 minutes it would snort and move and smoke would come out of its nose. It was awesome!
I made this hat at school. I told Mom and Dad, "I had a great day at school today." I gave away my bags to my friends and they all sang Cumpleanos Feliz to me.
Enjoying my new birthday toys.
Yes, I wanted a hot dog and fries. I really only took two bites of it.
Mommy and Daddy got potato skins!!!!
I fell asleep in the restaurant after I had eaten. I was zonked.
Then, at 6:00, Mom and Dad went on a date and saw The Bourne Ultimatum while Dena and I hung out. Dena is with our same company. Here is our family shot on my 3rd birthday. I am so happy! It was a great day!

Birthday Morning

Here I am sleeping. Mommy and Daddy woke me up singing "Happy Birthday" to me. It took me a moment to warm up to the idea of getting up. I was so tired because I didn't want to go to bed because I was sooooooo excited about my birthday.
Mommy stayed up late decorating for me. There is my package from Aunt Kimberly, Uncle Tony, Jojo, and Travis!

This is my favorite part.

I am awake!
These typical bags that the parents buy for the children in the schools here when it is their child's birthday. I got my own and it had candy and toy watch in it!

Can you tell how thankful I am to have these. The tractor tipping is my favorite part! You know me too well.
I had so much fun opening each little package.
Dude...
Thank you Jojo for making my card! You did a fantastic job and you really put a lot of time and thought into it. Thank you! I really liked the stickers, too!
Here are the goodies for my class.
I am off to school. I have my watch on, my Mater, Lightning Mc Queen, Tractor, and sunglasses packed. I changed my shirt because I like this one for today.

Mommy and Daddy said there is more coming after I get home from school. Oooooooo....what is it!

Muchas Gracias, Rocio.

Friday was my last day with my teacher Rocio that I have had since January. She was so wonderful and a real answer to prayer. We thank God for her and how loving, patient, and happy she was all of the time. She was my best friend at school. We gave her a gift certificate to the mall here as a thank you for all that she did for me. I am going to miss her.

I have a different teacher for the next two weeks and then I will start going to the same school in the afternoons for a couple of hours a day three days a week.

Game King

So, I got to open a birthday present early! Yippeee! With that sweet face who could resist?
With my parents discovering my constant need to be challenged they let me open this present because it was a game. I am turning into the game king and I have to say that I am enjoying them more than anything else. I like the competition and challenge of it all.

This game is for ages 3-6. It is great. It has five boards with blank areas made with different shapes that are blank and you have to fill them in with the correct color. You can roll the di with just the shape or roll the other di with the colors, too, to add the challenge of getting the color and the shape. I told them it was my new favorite game.
