I went to Birmingham, England and met up with some friends before the Women's Conference over the weekend. This modern mall is next to a really old cathedral and it just seems like you are living in two worlds at once.

This area is called the Bull ring thanks to the Bull. It is a shopping area behind the mall. It reminded me of Spain. Theresa, Kristy, Julie, and Me (left to right).

Jack Pot! They don't have these where we live. Boohoo!

Can you guess how much this box of Lucky Charms cost? Write your guess in the comment section. No, we did not buy it.

We went to the Crabtree and Evelyn Tea Room in Stratford Upon Avon where Shakespeare was born.

It was so quaint and beautiful. I just liked that we could speak English!!!

Fun photo in the booth!

This is the Hayes Conference Center where we stayed for the conference in Derbyshire from Monday-Friday.
The Hayes was built in the 1850s as the home of Mr. Fitzherbert Wright, maternal great, great grandfather of the Duchess of York. In 1910 his son, Henry, sold the Estate to the company who adapted and extended it for use as a Conference Center.
