Saturday with Elisa

Fun times with Elisa (to the right of mom) and some of her friends at the lake. The rest stayed at the park while we enjoyed the water!

The lake is so nice. It is like the beach but better because the water doesn't have salt!

Some of the Things I got for my Birthday

I am 4!!! It was such a fun birthday. Thank you to everyone who sent cards, presents and birthday wishes. It all really blessed me!!

A skateboard from Christopher.
Lightning Mc Queen sandals from Nana and Grandpa and a snorkel. They also sent me some nice polo shirts and pool rings.

Fun Lightning McQueen toys from the Brooks and they sent a coloring book and toy dinosaurs and stickers.
Mom and Dad gave me a fish for our fish tank. I got 10 Tetras. This was the first day after waiting 15 days for the water to be right. So it was a big day. We are building a relationship with Augustine the guy at the fish store.

Mammaw gave me a light for my bike so went bike riding last night. I also got some clothes and socks and Bubba teeth!

My Party in the Park

The park we go to every night and play with the kids. This is where we had Levi's birthday here last Tuesday and it was such a huge success!!!
Our friend Amy from Fort Worth that was here during the time and it was so great being able to hang out!
Caty (right) is our friend who lives here who does the same kind of work we do. She was the biggest help in making my party a success. Rita and Lia (left to right) are the two girls from Bangladesh.
Caty made this pinata for me. It was very special.
Montahena (I help her with English when we are in the park) and her mom Taslima.
This is sweet Lima!
Mommy and Samuel

Taslima (Montahena's mom) made me a cake.
The kids hanging out before the party began. We had five games to play and Laura and her friends really helped us out with this and we are so grateful for them. God truly blessed us.
Elias's mom and him and his friend.
Pin the tail on the donkey.
Dropping clothes pins in a jar.
A fishing pond.
Papa sat us down and spoe a blessing over me and my friends. Then we got in line and Mom and Laura passed out cupcakes (50)!
We shared our Kool-Aid and the kids loved it!
The pinata was not a big a success as we had hoped because it finally dropped and then the bowl got taken by a mother and she dumped the candy in her purse!!! It worked out because it allowed the kids to bless Levi by sharing their candy with him because he didn't get any. I learned next time to put the good candy in our pockets before and the cheaper candy in the pinata and thow out the good candy when it is busted. Live and learn!
Soomi and Taslima with Mommy and David.
Samuel busted it open.
Renae gave me a cool bubble gun in the end. Thanks everyone who helped out!

Basque Country

We went to the North to visit some friends. Their mom was away so we went to help and hang out. We had so much fun!!! It is so beautiful there. We felt like we were in another country because it was so green and much colder. The beach front at high tide.

Fun carnival ride!

We spent time at the park.

And we went to some of the traditional dancing of the Basque at night. There were tons of people.

Mommy loved using their Baby Bjorn.
This guys did an amazing dance on top of this coffin. No, nobody was inside.

Then, we went for ice cream - a very traditional thing to do after watching the dancing. It was all such a great cultural experience!!
We enjoyed many meals together especially cookies and brownies for dessert! The kids did great helping. Mommy got her girl fix!

Then the last day we went to the beach!!! We loved it!

even David enjoyed the sand.
some country side on our way back

The train was the way to go. Two movies and room for the kids to play and eat and sleep! Thank you Derek for such a fun time with your family!!
