Mom and Kimberly's Trip

Yeah, Mamaw and Kimberly are here!!

They were received with lots of hugs and kisses!

We hung out and opened the goodies that they brought!
We played a little UNO. I am still the Champeeeeen

David made his funny face for them.
I tickled David
Then we went and saw the sites of the city over the next few days....
The turtles at the train station that got bombed in March of 2004
stopped for churros which were not that good
marveled at the delicious pastries and tried a few....
showed them my school. This is Zahora a grandmother of one of the students.
walked to the Rastro (open market).
stopped for empanadillas

went to Plaza Mayor
Then we visited Toledo. We stopped here to get coffee to go with our pastry.
near the cathedral in Toledo

This is Retiro park

Aunt Kimberly thought she broke her thumb getting me down from the monkey bars. Mom ran for ice and Dad ran to the pharmacy for the pain medicine while she held her hand in fountain.

We got to feed the fish in the pond here. One was gigantic!!
We had tapas one night at one of our favorite spots.

Segovia was the last day and probably the best. The weather was so nice and it is just a beautiful city.

Good thing I brought my motorcycle.

Aunt Kimberly and I picking out some sweets for cousin Jordan and Travis.

Aunt Kimberly and I crossed the river by the castle like Dora does!
On the bridge near the castle

The happy Mommy and Daddy!

Drinking His Bottle

A few of my favorite things

Who is bigger?

Mommy says I am such a big helper. I love that I am taller than David. I can now pick him up and move him from place to place and enjoy it when I can discipline him like mommy does. I tell him "no,no touch" and then I spank his hand.

Faoozia's help

Some of our friends came into town recently and Faoozia came to my rescue with the couscous. She was still there cleaning when I was preparing the meal and when I discovered that I had totally botched it up she came and worked her magic. It was a good time for her to feel like she was helping me "impress" my friends as this is big to save face especially with guests in her culture.

Connie was such a great abuela while she was here and such a huge help to me. I appreciae you, Connie! Thanks for filling my love tank with quality time!
