Father's Day
So, Thursday was father's day in this country. It was a holiday so we took advantage of the time to go with Antonio to his village where he grew up and a bigger city just outside of it.
This city has a big wall aorund it that you can walk on and get great views of the city. He said it was built around the 1200s.

A few family shots up top.

The cathedral in the background. Part of the cathedral is actually part of the wall.

David looking up to his big brother!
We stopped for coffee.
we went to a park for a "kid time".

And old church that was closed - boo hoo.
us outside the wall

We had a great lunch and dessert and had the pleasure of meeting two of Antonio's friends
The amazing father with whom I have the priviledge of being his wife!
another park we played in with a cool twisty slide outside of the restaurant

David saying "more" for more slide.

Antonio's little town where he grew up. This place reminded me so much of Morocco.
Antonio's cat Moro. I have never seen Levi enjoy the outdoors as much as he did this trip.
We took a walk in the country and enjoyed a marvelous sunset. At the end of the day we met Antonio's brother and sister-in-law and then his sister and brother-in-law. It was a great visit!

fun pics
Me and David playing with our kitchen. I made mom a hamburger and played a joke where I hid some fish in it. She spit all of the hamburger out when I told her! I laughed and laughed. David just tried to see if any of the food was really edible.
Me writing Grandmama's birthday card.
This is Mommy's doctor that brought David into the world. He is showing his gratitude.
David's new favorite book he always grabs off of the shelf.
David loves being pulled around in this.
