Violin

We found this toy violin in the trash one night while walking in the neighborhood. You just touch the strings and it plays the song so you really think you are playing something. It is a much-fought-over toy!
Mom had to stop me from covering up the lens while David was being filmed. I didn't like it.

Mother's Day

Went to church and heard a really good sermon. It talked about thinking before you speak. He used the acrostic THINK. Is what you are about to say: True? Helpful? Insiring? Necessary? or Kind? Mommy was convicted and didn't like herself for half the day because she knows she says a lot of things she shouldn't. So, she am working on this for sure! God is not done with her YET!
First shot was the best
David was done so I thought "Can't beat 'em, join 'em" so I made my funny face! Ha!

We went to Aunt Kimberly's for lunch and pool time and then Mom and Grandmama, Cousin Jojo, and Aunt Shannon went to see Iron Man II. A guys was snoring behind Mom so loudly that she tapped him to wake him up. It was so disappointing to see how many parents brought their 2-5 year olds to that movie!!

Softball game

Went went to our cousin's softball game last Saturday and even though they didn't win either game we had a great time. It was cloudy which made it cooler and more tolerable. Mom didn't get any pictures from the game....how lame....I know.

Babysittying

We got to babysit my niece lats week and it was fun! She went to sleep right away so the fun didn't begin until later!

Week 3

So, we stayed one more week because of the chance to make family pictures through the church, Trinity had a follow up doctor's appointment, and it gave us a chance to connect with more people from our church! Why not stay?!

We visited a family in the church where we went to college and had such a great time! Chicken spaghetti and salad...Dr. Pepper and apple cinnamon cake with ice cream! Mmmmm. The girls that were in the youth group when I was an intern are all grown up now and it was fun to see this stage of their lives.

Our last day there Aunt Jillian came over with her daughter and we had fun getting to know each other better. Uncle Asa was working...far away and we couldn't play with him (big sad face). David tried hard to get M to play with him but she needed some more time to warm up to the boys!
