Snow Dog Ice Cream

My creative Aunt Shannon bought an ice cream truck last year and fixed it up with super phat decals, neon lights, and a re-mix of the ice cream song. She makes appearances at birthday parties, company picnics, VBSs and passes out ice cream to all of the guests while fun kid music rings through the air....well depending on the people that are there. She took me along the other day and I got to experience the coolness of the event! Then she took me to her friend's shop to look at muscle cars! It was a wild ride! Thank you, Aunt Shannon!

Trinity's camera face

fun pants from Jan (our friend in Spain). Trini wears them a lot!
Uh, Oh. What is brother up to?
An earring on the lip?
She likes it better in her mouth!
The looks she makes when you are going to take her picture....she tries to prepare for the flash....or avoid it!

Finally got one!
There it is again.

Another cute outfit from Jan!

Happy Birthday, Papa!

HAPPY 34th Papa! We went to the beach to celebrate. We had Popeye's fried chicken, made a sand castle, watched clams dig in the sand, and enjoyed the cool of the water splash on our feet. It rained going up and coming back but was clear where we were. We came back that night and played SORRY and Clue jr.

Mom and Trini staying dry and cool under the umbrella. That is the way she enjoys the beach.

Mom read Kite Runner while Trini slept. Poor thing. She was so hot.
a grateful daddy

Mom made a German chocolate cake and we had Blue Bell Pistacio Almond for the ice cream. Mmmmm....mmmmm...good!

I (Levi) didn't want to be in any of the pictures.

David wasn't shy about eating!

We had to say good-bye to Uncle Josh after his almost 2 week long stay! We had a great time with him making tents, playing games, sharing meals, watching basketball, wrestling, and reading stories. Thanks Uncle Josh for taking the time out for us!

May 26th = 9 Years!

Oh, how fun it was for Mom and Dad to get to celebrate their 9th wedding anniversary in America. They went to a nice steakhouse in Louisiana for their anniversary meal without the kids but, sadly have no picture to prove it! Boohoo. They had lots of date and shopping time in Louisiana with Pop and Grandma as babysitters so on the actual day they were happy to be in our little house with just us.

Uncle Brett and Aunt Abigail

We spent the weekend with Nana and Grandpa again and had a great time seeing Uncle Brett, Aunt Abigail, and little cousin Ransom inside her tummy. It was the first time David and Trinity had ever met them so it was an important event for our family! It had been almost 3 years since Papa had seen his brother Brett.

Trying to stay cool in the heat!

What a crybaby.
enjoying the legos.

Aunt Noah helping me with the dishes.

While Mommy went to Aunt Abigail's baby shower with Nana the uncles and Papa stayed with us.
David not wanting to take the pictures....as usual.

Marley with Aunt Jillian and David. She joined us for breakfast (blueberry waffles) before we had to head back to Houston.
