Mamaw's visit

Mamaw is here!!! I kept David home so he could go with us to get her. He wanted to be a cowboy!
Our Fall picture of the kids before Mamaw's arrival. This sign was from 3 years ago!

Trinity trying out her new make-up from Aunt Kimberly. She loves lip-balm and lipstick! That was the first thing she asked Mamaw when she got off the plane- "Where's my lipbalm?" She had lost the one she got for her birthday and remembered who had sent it. She decided to go straight to the one she knew could supply!
The kids love gumballs, too. We had some left over from Nana. I have been rationing them.

The boys received nerf dart guns and Trini got make-up and a make-up carrying case. She broke the case on the first day. Enjoying storying time. Our teammates lent us some books about being a big sister and about babies. They are a new favorite theme.

I gave out some candycanes that were stashed with the gumballs. David was most thrilled about his Ironman p.js, and clothes from cousin Travis. He just kept saying, "Thank you so much Mamaw for bringing these... Why would Travis want to get rid of them?"
They also got new costumes -Optimus Prime and Ironman!
Trinity got new p.js that she lives in for 3 days. She didn't want to take her little too-too off.

We made homemade pancakes with wipped cream on top one night for dinner and they were a HIT!

We made Thanksgiving cookies.

Thanksgiving dinner: roasted chickens with stuffing (I couldn't get a turkey in time), sweet poato casserole, green bean casserole, mashed 'tators, salad, and french bread.
Trinity favored Antonio and sat with him practically the whole meal.
Group shot of the special friends and family in our lives.

Snuggle time with Mamaw the next day along with decorating our Christmas tree.

Levi's own LEGO creation
David marveling over it and wishing he could play with it.

Make-up time

She did this all on her own.

Back to the airport.

shot before Mamaw's departure. We drank lots of tea and ate lots of desserts. We also watched a few movies and enjoyed fires in the fireplace almost everyday. She enjoyed seeing the kid's school and Parque Europa. Sadly, Mamaw caught a cold about half way through her trip. She was a lifesaver while Tim was in France the first 4 days of her trip. What great memories we made as a family!

It's a Girl!

20 weeks- October 26th
We are finally breaking the silence of our future addition to our family! We wanted to do it when we were 20 weeks along but we had a month of uncertainties with a rule-out of spina bifida. We are so thankful that at this point she does not have spina bifida and looks to be growing and progressing well. Our due date is March 10, 2012 but my doctor is taking her during the week of Feb 18th-25th since she will be my 4th C-section. Just for those wondering she was not a "surprise". She was a child went spent 3 months praying for and asking Him to make it happen if He wanted it. We had our fears or struggles with the idea but we felt like He was saying "trust me". Life is a gift and as a mother I feel like there is nothing greater sometimes than giving life to another. Motherhood is a sacrifice but a huge blessing and we are so thankful, as a couple, to be able to share in this growth! Glory be to Him.
It has been a good pregnancy but I had the most nausea and vomiting with this one. It also lasted the longest! She moves a lot brings so much joy already. Her siblings are looking forward to her arrival. David will say, "Did you have the baby, yet?...When are you going to have the baby already?"...."How much longer until the baby gets here?" When I tell him "not yet" he gets frustrated and asks, "Why NOT?" When Trinity climbs in my lap she says, "I not hurt the baby. I be gentle." She gives kisses on my belly for her. They are so sweet. Levi understands and has even taught David how to play doctor and do a C-section. They love practicing.
We are so grateful to have another girl. We can't belive how fast the time has gone. She will be here before we know it!

France

For our TL meeting we stayed on a farm and so the kids got to ride on horses and in a horse- drawn carriage that the volunteers so graciously paid for. Our kids had wonderful teachers and an incredibel time playing with other MKs.The little blond haired dude in the back (not his brother) was David's best friend all week.

SOme of the volunteers with the little ones.
It had a sand park that provided lots of fun diversion!

Some of the volunteers waiting with the little ones while the older kids were getting on their horses.
Us in the "carriage".
David and Liam had a so much fun singing and acting silly.
Our visit with Kharim and Seynabou in Paris for the day.
