This last year we had the joy of having Rebecca Leon with us, going to Amman for 3 weeks and eating the best falafel in the world, getting to know our colleagues that live in France, East Africa, and England; we enjoyed working and growing with Aaron and Kristin, hosting a back to school party for the kids in the neighborhood; David started school for the first time and did wonderfully. Levi was in 2nd grade and loved his teacher and classmates. We had Mamaw for Thanksgiving, hosted our Spanish friends for a Christmas party, celebrated New Year's with the Peter's, Wanda arrived in January, We said goodbye to Mariam and Hicham, we welcome Hadassa in February, Mamaw came again-woohoo!, Brooks' and Miriam's team came for a week and we had a great block party, and then Nana and Grandpa came! Mariam and Hicham returned, the house we are living in sold and we had to say good-bye to Aaron and Kristin. We are moving into our new house on Villarroel soon and can't wait to see what this next year holds. We were certainly challenged in our relationship but got through the growing pains of dying to self and choosing thankfulness and the other's needs first. We sleep less, laugh more, and praise Him for His faithfulness.
