The kids stayed home from school Wednesday and we did crafts and decorated pumpkins. We ended the day with trick or treating in our neighborhood with Ethan and Tobi.
This is Levi's pumpkin below and while cutting David's I sliced my palm and had to stop until Tim came home. He got home just in time to finish the job. The pumpkins were 3,54 at Carrefour! The employees were all dressed for the occasion- witches and skeletons. Trinity didn't like it.
Sweet David and his pumpkin
Daddy made it home and I took advantage of the perfect time of day for pictures. Levi did NOT like the smell of the pumpkins.

We spent lots of time getting our faces painted and costumes together. Levi was a vampire, Trinity a unicorn and David was an army man. Our good friends Brian and Cassie surprised us with a visit and I took them trick or treating. Tim stayed with Hadassa at home to give out the candy and keep her warm. It was an interesting time. Since the kids go to a bilingual school they are really trying to incorporate some of the American festivities. One thing I am trying to let people know is Halloween costumes can be any costume not just scary ones. Not everyone is on the bandwagon with Halloween. Among the 240 chalets only about 30 gave out candy. It was cool to meet the kids in the neighborhood and tell them where we live.

Trinity had a bad throat infection with high fevers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thanks to a doctor's visit and antibiotics she was well enough to go trick or treating. This is a nice warm costume we got from Patricia.
Here is the loot! The candy was not as great as the American candy but it was suffice for the occasion. The kids loved it and we hope to do something fun next year for the kids that come to our house for candy.

I am finally reunited with my man! It was a very memorable day!
